Brian Cliff Olguin (b. 1982) is a photographer with a background in documentary and journalism. His photographic work revolves arounds issues of socio-economical inequality, identity and class.
In addition to conducting independent projects Olguin has contributed as an editorial photographer for several NGOs and news media outlets both in Norway and abroad. Published in Aftonbladet, NY Times, VG, Klassekampen and Politiken to name a few.
In 2019 Olguin was awarded with Picture of the year in Norway for a photograph from his long term project Hjem, on Norwegians living in public housings. He has also had the honour of being part of of the jury for several photography grants,
Olguin is an immigrant to Norway with working class Latin-American parents. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Norwegian.
